The Prestonpans Tapestry
The Prestonpans Tapestry is currently being created by a large team of Embroiderers and when completed will be over 90 metres in length, and tells the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie's lead up to the Battle of Prestonpans.
The Prestonpans Tapestry is an ongoing project. Throughout the tapestry development the website will be used as a virtual showcase to display the work and will be used as a reference point for both the project task force and the public.
The website has been developed using Microsoft ASP.Net and enables administrators to upload completed panels and accompanying information. Once all of the panels have been completed, the website will include an animated presentation of the tapestry, designed and produced by Design and Online.

The Gadget Site, based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is Distributors of gifts, gadgets, toys, novelty items and consumer electronics. The Gadget Site Work closely with leading Wholesalers across the UK.
Design and Online worked with The Gadget Site to implement and develop a Magento Commerce application, providing a great all round ecommerce solution.

Weddel Direct, based in Northampton, is part of Weddel Swift Distribution Ltd; a nationwide chilled and frozen distribution company.
Design and Online were asked to develop an online order management website. The project is based around a bespoke online ordering system where customers can place orders for goods from a number of Weddel Swift Distribution Ltd’s depots.
The system has been developed using the latest Microsoft ASP.Net technologies and enables Weddel Swift Distribution Ltd to manage every aspect of the application from product management through to customer and order management.

Blackwell Projects Ltd
Blackwell Projects, based in Buckingham, specialise in bespoke commercial interior projects with experience in shop-fitting, restaurants, and many other customer areas.
The objective for the website is to ultimately appeal to high end retail organisations. This was achieved through a layout that showcased high resolution examples of their work positioned within key visual areas of the website.
To enable Blackwell Projects to show multiple examples, we use Flash to rotate through a series of images within the focal area and a JQuery image gallery in the site.

Silverstone Brewing Company
The Silvertsone Brewing Company produce a range of cask conditioned and bottled beers of the highest quality and taste. The brewery is based between the Silverstone Circuit and the picturesque village of Syresham.
Since the company was established we have worked with them, creating their website design and branding from stationary through to bar pump clips.
Further website developments are scheduled for 2009 to increase their online identity.

We worked with Retail Associates to produce a web design that enabled them to showcase their services and enabling the user to down sales literature.
The website contains a picture gallery using a JavaScript ‘Lightbox’ function as an effective way to show photographs or their services.
