Design & Online Director on BBC Radio Northampton

14th October 2009

Design and Online's Creative Director, Rob Jarvis was recently invited on to BBC Radio Northampton to join in on the debate on whether university qualifications are integral to a successful career. He was asked about his own career path and whether not going to university had held him back. Rob reflected on the in-comapny training that he had received and the invaluable experience he had gained by going straight into the web industry at a low level. He aslo referred to the speed in which the industry moves, as new technologies and standards become widely available and applied, therefore university isn't neccessarily the best way to get ahead.

Overall, the peice was a great success and gave Design and Online a chance to share their thoughts and hopefully provide useful information to those looking to get involved web design and development.
