British Grand Prix 2009 - Silverstone

8th June 2009

The British Grand Prix weekend attracted F1 fans from far and wide to Silverstone Circuit and the surrounding areas… and yes, the short trip into the office took much longer thanks to the expected, but not appreciated, gridlock. Despite the disappointment for the British drivers and their supporters, there was plenty of cheer for one of our clients.

Silverstone Brewing Company Ltd enjoyed their busiest week of the year with demands for their beers, Pitstop, Chequered Flag and the limited addition On The Button reaching new levels and receiving very positive feedback also. The beers not only made it into many Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire pubs, but were also available at The British Racing Drivers Club at Silverstone and the annual Silverstone Grand Prix Ball.

In the lead up to the Grand Prix, Design and Online Ltd continued to offer their ongoing support to the brewery, producing graphics, a new pump clip design and updating the website. In particular, the On The Button pump clip was well received by the client and all their customers.

So despite the disappointment for Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, Design and Online Ltd and Silverstone Brewing Company Ltd were triumphant this British Grand Prix.
